In rainy and wet conditions, HURT sevens started the tournament with a record of 2-1 in pool play with their only loss coming from the Bonobos. HURT advanced to the Cup Semi-Final where they defeated the Austin Huns 24-19. The Cup Final saw a rematch between HURT and the Bonobos. Down 19 at halftime, HURT stormed back to force extra time and ultimately captured the Cup Final by topping the Bonobos, 41-36.
